What's DRC
Q	What is DSR-C100/C100P?
A	DSR-C100/C100P combines a 1.5 million pixel CCD digital still camera and a 10.2 GB hard disk recorder in one unit. go to Top
Q	What is the concept of DRC?
A	By making full use of the high level of our technology to develop digital still camera, we achieved to record high definition images. We offer the DRC to replace for conventional film-based cameras. go to Top

Operation : Basic
Q	Can I playback Video Clip?
A	No. But you can use "Slide Shows" playback function of the application software (SANYO DRC Utility Software). So, the images in a folder can be displayed in order automatically starting from the current displayed image and continuing to the last image in the folder. go to Top
Q	Is Time & Date search function available?
A	No. But the name of recorded image folder is consist of the time & date information. (You can see image folders in "Folder selection area" of the main window of the utility software, which is composed every 5 minutes (900 images)) So, you can easily find the data. go to Top
Q	How many times can I make post alarm recording?
A	Basically, you can make post alarm recording once an alarm on the DSR-C100 original firmware. We consider that it is uncommon to record images on the same HDD continuously in case the event (alarm) should happen. But considering the miss-operation, it is possible to make 2nd post alarm recording if the remaining capacity is more than 5 minutes. We have changed the specification from the firmware FAT32 version to assign the post alarm storage area more than 5 minutes. go to Top
Q	Dose the application software work on Windows XP.
A	Yes. The system structure of Windows XP is the same as Windows 2000 basically. go to Top

Q	How can I expand the HDD?
A	You can replace with the optional 3.5" HDD which SANYO provides. Considering about reliability, it differs greatly even if you find same model in your market. Especially, it is very important issue for security equipment, so we supply recommended HDD under our quality check. go to Top
Q	When I expand the HDD, does it recognize the maximum recording time automatically?
A	Yes. It displays the maximum recording time automatically. go to Top
Q	Can I use the data of HDD removed from DRC on popular PC?
A	Yes, you can remove the HDD from DRC. But you can not use the HDD of DRC as it is, because DRC's firmware incorporates unique FAT originally. It requires renewing the firmware to FAT32 to use HDD removed from DRC. We have already developed the firmware FAT32 version, "SX19N76***.bin". System requirements : Windows98 Second Edition or later *notice: Please take notice that all of the data is deleted when you initialize and renew the firmware of the HDD. go to Top
